End of the Year Information

We were very fortunate to be able to offer free one on one swim lessons for our children due to the generous funding from Nassau Suffolk Chapter of Autism Society of America (NSASA) http://www.nsasa.org/. Please visit there website for more free activities and to become a member. They are an awesome group and run by very dedicated parents. We hope to offer future lessons but that will depend on more funding. We have an opportunity to receive some funds from a 4 mile run/walk. Please support us by registering and run/walking with us on April 13th. Here is the website with all the information. www.ejautismfoundation.org.

Our last swims for this year will be April 13 (pizza party) and April 27th. Please join us for the pizza party after our swim at 2:00p.m.

Our SAIL part of the program will begin July 7th. It will run for 8 Mondays. If you're interested in participating please drop me a line so that I can put you on our list.

Thank you all for your continued support and participation.

SWIM FEBRUARY 3RD

REMINDER

Our next swim is Feb. 3rd. Unfortunately, at this time we have a waiting list for the swim lessons. I'm hoping to have a fundraiser in the summer and maybe more grants to continue to offer free swim lessons. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Sunday swim 11-11-07

Hope everyone had a great halloween! We got sooooo many trick o treaters this year and of course Christopher came home with lots of candy. Hope you all like candy!

As of now we will be having a fundraiser tentatively December 22, 2007. I'm just waiting to hear back from the Sayville Yacht Club regarding the use of their facility. It will be a concert/cocktail reception from 7-10. Tickets will be $50 in advance and $60 at the door per person. The concert will be given by Robby Cinnante an opera singer but he will also be doing standard songs. Robby is a brother of Danny who has autism and is a member of our program. The whole family has been very supportive of our swim and sail program and Robby would like to do this to give back. The money we raise will be for future swim lessons and hopefully sail lessons as well. Please check back often for more details. I can really use some help with the fundraiser, please email me if you can help. Thank you in advance.
