Swim at St. Joseph's College
Just wanted to quick up date everyone. I am meeting with St. Joseph's College on Monday 9/24 to finalize the dates for our swim. We are also working out the kinks for the swim lessons. Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding. We are in need of donations and volunteers.

Highlights of 2007
Thank you all for a great summer. Today August 20 will be our last sail program. We will be having a pizza party rain or shine at 6:00p.m. Pool will be open for our use even if we don't sail. Please check back for the swim portion of our program schedule for the 2007/2008 year. Here are some pictures of our program this year. Enjoy.

GREAT START
Thank you all for a great start to our sail program. We had some wonderful volunteers from the Sayville Yacht Club. We were fortunate enough to have 3 boats and many of the parents and children were able to go on the boats several times. It was a beautiful night for sailing and everyone had a great time. We hope to have the same weather tonight!
Helpful hints:
* There is no charge for the program
* Register by coming down to the Sayville Yacht Club - Click on the link to get directions - http://www.sayvilleyachtclub.org/
* 1st timers, please sign in. Others please check off the corrcet date.
* From time to time we will have news coverage, please sign or check off the release.
* We will provide life jackets
* Sneakers, boat shoes or water shoes TO GO ON THE BOAT- NO FLIP FLOPS
* Parents and siblings are welcome to go on the boat
* After signing in you can go right in to the pool area. When the boats are ready we will ask everyone to go down by the boats - short walk.
When you arrive at the Club please ask for Warren, Maria or Susan

WILL NEED TO BRING:
Life vests will be provided by the swim and sail program
water or boat shoes
Snacks and drinks - no alcohol beverages
Sweatshirts or jackets - it can get very windy and cold at times
***Life guards will be provided in the pool area. Children will take turns going on the sail boats. Lessons are not given but information about sailing will be discussed by the boat owner. Changing rooms and bathrooms are available for our use. We encourage all family members to
swim and sail together. This is run strictly by volunteers and we ask for your patience and cooperation.
